Italian-Spanish seminar on the topic “Fluvial Requalification for risk reduction”

The Italian-Spanish seminar on the topic “fluvial Requalification for the reduction of the hydrogeological risk” will be held the 14th June 2007 in Parma (Italy).

The accentuation of extreme the hydrological phenomena tied to the climatic change, joined to the necessity to implement in short times the Water Framework Directive(2000/60/CE - WFD), in coordinated way with others important European directives (in particular the future Flood Risk Directive), which calls to an acceleration in the application of new criteria in the planning and management of the fluvial river basins. It aim to reach a good state of the ecosystem and sustainable costs for the collectivity.
