3rd International Conference on Water Science and Technology AQUA

The aims of the Conference are:
• To address the water-related issues linked to adaptation to climate change. These
include the use of non-conventional water resources as well as robust protection
systems to reduce risks related to water.
• To examine the potential water problems and their multiple challenges, and to
suggest solutions for the preservation of the quality and quantity of water with
emphasis given to the countries of Southeastern Europe and the Mediterranean.
• To demonstrate the importance of new technologies and facilitate the promotion of
relevant research, study and implementation of those technologies regarding in
particular water.
• To raise environmental awareness on water-related issues and increase political
will, for the protection of public health and the implementation of new production
rules and regulations in the wider water sector.
• To promote multi-dimensional and interdisciplinary programmes and collaboration
among those who study, handle and deal with water resources.
