The Mediterranean Investment Forum Med Invest 2009

Tthe Mediterranean Investment Forum Med Invest 2009 is taking place in Beirut, in February 20/21, 2009. More than 500 business leaders from Europe and the Mediterranean, 200 Gulf personalities and representatives of investment funds will attend the Forum; as well as the Ministers of Economy and Trade, the Ministers of Industry and the Governors of Central Banks in the South Mediterranean region.

Investment is the major cure to the economic crisis, and the way out of the recession. Investment needs confidence, technology and finance. Med Invest 2009 is providing all three ingredients: Projects of emerging countries; Technology of the European Union; Financing of the Gulf.

BUSINESSMED will give the opportunity to the projects' owners in the region to promote their projects and bring them to achievement in the most feasible conditions;

BUSINESSEUROPE will facilitate the participation of high-tech enterprises offering methods of improving productivity through direct investment and exchange of knowledge;

Al-Iktissad Wal-A'amal was chosen as main organizer of the forum given its long experience in promoting investment and organizing business and investment conferences in the region.
