Water Education Workshop

This workshop is one of five global, regional workshops, all with the following objectives:

To identify examples of best practices on water education in the region at all educational levels,
To analyze barriers and opportunities, and
To recommend strategies, initiatives and actions for effective water education.

Topics that will be covered during the workshop in different sessions are:

1. Tertiary education and professional development of water scientist, engineers, managers & decision makers

2. Education and training of water technicians

3. Water education in schools

4. Community and stakeholder education

5. Water education for mass-media professionals
