Event Climate Change in South-Eastern European Countries IV: Adaptation Strategies for Economy and Society

the upcoming workshop "Climate Change in South-Eastern European Countries IV: Adaptation Strategies for Economy and Society" which will be held on the 19th and 20th of October 2009 in Zagreb, Croatia.

 

The objectives of the workshop are:

 

·         to strengthen and improve the multidisciplinary approach to climate change related issues;

·         to understand climate change impacts on different sectors within the region;

·         to generate ideas for research projects; and

·         to establish a network between business and science.

 

Workshop gives opportunities:

 

·         for researchers to show innovative findings of their research by presentations;

·         for policy makers and businesses to state their needs for future research; and

·         for groups to discuss specific research questions.
