2nd Stakeholder Consultation Meeting of 6th World Water Forum

Due to overwhelming interest in the second stakeholder consultation meeting of the 6th World Water Forum - Marseille 2012, it was decided to postpone it for two months to January 17-18, 2011. The objective is to give the organizers more time to prepare this important meeting. They want to give the opportunity to different organisations to be involved in this preparatory process, which needs to be as inclusive as possible.

The work they are about to produce together will launch the basis for the provisional programme of the 6th World Water Forum, and it will need a large commitment of stakeholders from all over the world.

As you remember, this event will delve further into the specifics of the targets that have emerged: How can these targets be rendered more concrete? Which stakeholders need to be involved? How can regions be instrumental in the achievement of these goals? What is the plan of action to make these solutions become reality?
