The 33rd International Conference on Coastal Engineering: ICCE 2012
ICCE 2012 will be held at the International Convention Center in Santander (Cantabria), Spain from July 1st to 6th, 2012.
Santander, a modern and cosmopolitan city with a rich historical past, is protected by a natural bay and is a member of the exclusive club of the “Most beautiful Bays in the World”. It has also been a major tourist destination since the Spanish Royal Family first chose it as their summer home at the beginning of the 20th century.
The Convention Center, recently constructed, is located in a privileged spot surrounded by golden beaches and spectacular scenery overlooking the Cantabria Sea. The conference is being organized under the auspices of the Coastal Engineering Research Council (CERC) of Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute (COPRI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

This is a comprehensive database of conference papers dating back to the first conference in 1950, and including up to the previous conference in 2010.
The abstract submissions instructions will be given on the conference web site in the spring 2011.
Abstracts must be received by 1 October 2011
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers dealing with the conference subjects or related topics. An author cannot be listed as the first author on more than one paper or present more than one paper at the conference. Papers must be presented at the conference in order to be included in the Proceedings to be published after the conference.s

Authors will be notified of the status of their summaries in January 2012. Accepted authors will receive instructions for preparing an Abstract-in-Depth for publication. A digital book of abstracts will be distributed at the conference.
Bulletin nº2 (Second Announcement) and the conference website will provide ongoing information on the conference. Please note the official conference language is English.
