Event The 2nd Hamburg Water Forum for the EMA-Region: “Making from Water every living thing”

Water is a core element for peace in many regions and its scarcity represents a global challenge, especially for the Arab countries. In view of the central significance of the set of problems concerning water for economy, society, environment and politics, the EMA has developed different forums to address the issues concerning this topic and to find common and practical solutions. In light of this and as a result of a highly successful Water Forum in 2010 as well as the equally successful Environment Forum for the EMA Region in 2011, the EMA has established itself as the leading association for the promotion of German-Arab cooperation in the sectors of water, environment/-al technologies and renewable energies. Currently, the EMA is organizing the 2nd Hamburg Water Forum for September 2012.

The forum will link top-class political and economic representatives of the entire EMA Region. As the biggest EMA event of the year, the forum will thus receive large media coverage and attract several hundreds of participants from Germany, Europe and the whole Arab region.

The three-day forum will take place in all available conference halls at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and offer exhibition space on the trading floor. Furthermore, company visits, the organisation of individual B2B meetings, a Gala dinner and a town hall reception are in preparation.
