Humboldt Colloquium: “The Power of Excellence in Science - Enhancing Academic Capacities in Africa”

Every year, the Humboldt Foundation organises two major colloquia abroad to which all the alumni from the respective country or region are invited. The aim of these events is to enable Humboldtians to make contact with one another as well as with German specialist colleagues. The colloquia also provide an opportunity to draw the attention of junior researchers to the Humboldt Foundation’s sponsorship portfolio. Invitations are extended furthermore to the Feodor Lynen research fellows in the respective host country.

A further Humboldt Foundation-TWAS joint project is the Humboldt Colloquium on “The Power of Excellence in Science - Enhancing Academic Capacities in Africa” which will take place in Kenya in March 2014.
