New on-line CPD training courses for water managers and supervisors

A new training initiative was launched today between youlearnwater and IWA Publishing, to provide specialist training for water managers and supervisors.

Courses are pitched at Masters degree level and are suitable for a graduate in a relevant discipline or someone with five or more years of on-the-job experience.

Each Module for the global water sector includes slide presentations, detailed notes in a Course Handbook, exercises and assessment tests, and are accredited by the CPD Standards Office in London.

Over the coming months, a portfolio of over fifty courses will become available. The very first courses available from 16^th November include:

• Minimising lead in drinking water.
• Preventing cryptosporidium in drinking water.
• Disinfection strategies and process optimisation.
