Two new publications on river basin management

Two new publications on river basin management were brought out by NGOs participating in the MedWet NGO network.  CSDC (Civil Society Development Center), Network member from Albania, published a leaflet to raise awareness on the ecological and socio-economic value of the Shkodra basin and the need to align Albanian legislation to the EU Water Framework Directive.  The Algerian NGO, “Promotion of Rural Women in the Wilaya of Skikda” translated the manual “Integrated River Basin Management – Guidelines for the Mediterranean“ into French.
