MEDWAVES Electronic Newsletter, issue zero
MedWaves, the MAP quarterly magazine which comes out in Arabic, English and French editions, covers the latest MAP projects and key regional themes. MedWaves goes out to a wide audience including government experts and officials, libraries, scientists, NGOs and IGOs, students and journalists. "The joint EEA–UNEP/MAP Work Programme for 2006–2008 has been signed" - This and further UNEP/MAP and Barcelona Convention related news are now available in this new monthly MEDWAVES e-Newsletter.
This UNEP/MAP e-newsletter will provide updates on developments related to the Convention, to UNEP/MAP and its components, UNEP and key environmental news in relation to the Mediterranean region. In addition, the full version of the MedWaves magazine (both electronic and printed versions, in Arabic, English and French) will continue to be published in 2007, coming out every 4 months.
Should you have news and events organised by your centre or institution that you would like to have published in the UNEP/MAP newsletter or in the MedWaves magazine, notify UNEP-MAP at info@unepmap.gr. The monthly newsletter will be issued during the last week of each month from February onwards.
