The right to water and sanitation training workshop in Ramallah
On the 16 March 2008 The Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE) and
Palestinian Hydrology Group (PHG) held a workshop on the right to water and
sanitation, in Ramallah. The workshop examined the legal basis for the right
to water and sanitation and presentations were also held outlining at the
current water and sanitation crisis in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The training aimed to provide individuals and organizations with knowledge
about the human right to water and sanitation, in the hope that they would
go on to train others in this regard.
