Serbia: Duboko Solid Waste Water Management Project

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published in Procurement Opportunities, Ref. 5558-GPN-37033, dated 13th Jun 2007 and updated on 5 September 2008.

JKP Regionalna deponija “Duboko”, hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”, intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of construction of a landfill.

JKP Regionalna deponija “Duboko” now invites sealed tenders from contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:

Construction of a Landfill

• The Contract shall consist of, but is not limited to, the construction of the required works, including fabrication, delivery, assembly, erection, training (operation as well as maintenance), testing, commissioning, adjusting and connecting them to existing works (the first phase of the overall project already contracted to others) and handing over a landfill (the second phase of the overall project, namely this contract) at the designated landfill complex of Duboko near Užice in Central/Western Serbia, inclusive of all requisite guarantees. The implementation period of the project including the design (if necessary) and construction is nine (9) months from the commencement date. An additional defect notification period of twenty-four (24) months is foreseen.
