Registration now open for 2011 Water Security Conference
Registration is now open for the American Water Works Association’s (AWWA) 2011 Water Security Conference (WSC), which will be held in Nashville, Tenn., on Sept. 11-14, according to a press release.
Coinciding with the 2011 National Preparedness Month, the event will contain sessions that stress the importance of strengthening the security and resiliency of national water infrastructure.
Conference sessions from WSC will include topics such as cyber security; legislative/regulatory updates; utility case studies on emergency response and physical security; lessons learned from the Water and Wastewater Agency Response Networks (WARN); risk and resilience management; and advances in contaminant warning systems and technologies.
The conference will be co-located with AWWA’s 2011 Distribution Systems Symposium.
