Writing competition: Capacity building - what's the impact?

Tell us about a capacity building activity you have led or been involved in. In 500 words or less, explain how it has helped to achieve your goals and make change happen. Help other members learn from your experience by telling us how was the activity was run, who for and how they change their behaviours, approach or attitude to bring about meaningful change.

The winning entry will feature in Freshwater News August 2011 (see last issue's winner pictured above), and may appear as a blog on the FAN website.
