have the honour of inviting you to the conference: "What innovations to meet the water challenges in the Mediterranean region?"

Thursday 9th February 2012, 9:00am to 5:00pm

At the amphitheatre of the Aguas de Barcelona Tower (AGBAR), 211 Avinguda Diagonal, Barcelona

The morning session will allow us to discuss practical and innovative solutions in the technical, financial andgovernance-related fields to address water issues in the Mediterranean. 3 round table discussions will takeplace successively:

1. Technical innovations for better water management
2. What methods are there for innovative financing?
3. Inventing new methods of governance

These discussions continue and complement the work of the Mediterranean preparation process for the 6thWorld Water Forum to be held in Marseille from 12th to 17th March 2012.

Site visits will be offered after lunch, providing practical examples of some of the topics raised during the discussions.
