Mission

The Communications Officer supports the Head of Communications in the delivery of the Organization’s communications strategy and participates in developing, introducing, and delivering a focused online and social media strategy.

Main tasks
· Draft, edit and proofread text for a wide range of materials for internal and external publication, including articles, case stories, brochures and other promotional material.
· Optimize and promote the organization’s online presence
· Coordinate the work of website developers, designers, printers , and other consultants
· Update and manage website content
Profile
· Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, and/or an environment-related field
· Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in an international organization within a similar position
· Very good knowledge of online and social media
· Strong project management skills and able to handle simultaneously several projects
· Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
· English mother tongue is required as are excellent writing and editing skills
