Call for papers for WFD Lille 2013
Introduction
The conference will review technical challenges faced by Member States, stakeholder organisations and scientists, while integrating climate change components (understanding, prevention, preparedness) into the River Basin Management Planning under the Water Framework Directive (WFD), in particular adaptation measures expected to take place within the 2nd RBMP. It will look at the way cross-sectoral and multidisciplinary co-operation has developed with a strong focus on climate change research, and how emerging issues such as adaptation to climate change will be considered in the water sector in the future.

The Chairmen of the Organising and Programme Committees are seeking sponsors to support this popular conference. Without the support of sponsors the conference could not proceed, so we do hope that organisations will be able to offer a commitment to this event. If you are interested or know of other organisations which might be interested, please contact the secretariat about the opportunities available.
Exhibitors
The trade exhibition will be accessible to all throughout the conference, and there will be a dedicated exhibition session with posters and drinks reception on Monday evening. Every refreshment and lunch break will take place in the exhibition and poster area. The registration fee for an exhibition stand including one delegate with full conference attendance is 1,500€.
Call for Posters
Posters will be invited and encouraged in both scientific and policy categories. To submit a poster abstract, please download a template from our website, and submit your abstract to the Secretariat (closing date is 30th September).
Registration and Programme
Registration for this event will open in mid-June and fees have been agreed as detailed below. In the meantime, people may register an interest for the event online and will be notified when registration does open. The programme will also be uploaded onto the event website at the same time as registration.

Conference Dinner
A conference dinner will be held on Monday 4th November at La Terrasse des Remparts, situated within the vestiges of the City's fortifications, dating from the 17th century. This dinner is optional, and will be offered as an additional chargeable item on registration.
Proceedings
Conference proceedings will be available for purchase and will be available after the event.
