NextMed Conference: interview of Siwar Rouhanna - MED-3R project

Siwar Rouhanna introduced the MED-3R project, which specifically focuses on the implementation of strategies to help communities reuse, recycle and reduce waste at the NextMed Conference, held in Rome last December 12th, 2014.

Four MED-3R partners coming from the Municipality of Byblos, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Nice Cote d’Azur, the National Agency for Waste Management in Tunisia (ANGed) and the University of Genoa, attended this event. The achievements of the Mediterranean cross-border cooperation and the coming challenges for the 2014-2020 ENI programming were presented at this occasion at which, various actors of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation participated.

« MED-3R Euro-Mediterranean Strategic Platform for a suitable waste management » is a strategic project of the ENPI CBC MED Programme included in the topic  « Waste treatment and recycling ».This 90 % funded project by the European Union of a budget of 4,787,062 € brings together 15 direct partners and 7 associated.
