The main characteristics of the upcoming call include:

  • Maximum project duration: 24 months;
  • Maximum budget: €2 million per project;

  • Priority given to projects with strong potential for transferability and integration into public policies.

The call will be open under three Interreg Euro-MED missions:

Projects are expected to address key Mediterranean challenges related to the ecological transition, ecosystem restoration and improving citizens' quality of life.

Information session materials now available

To support potential applicants, the recording and presentation slides from the webinar held on 17 July 2026, introducing the key features of Call 8, are now available on the Interreg Euro-MED Programme website.

These materials provide an initial overview of the objectives and expected scope of the call. The official Terms of Reference and detailed application guidelines are expected to be approved and presented during a dedicated information session scheduled for September 2026.

Prospective applicants are therefore encouraged to regularly consult the Interreg Euro-MED Programme website from September onwards to access the official call documentation and application package.
