Mediterranean Pavilion at COP31: From Dialogue to Action

The Mediterranean Pavilion at COP31 will bring together governments, international organisations, researchers, civil society and private sector representatives to strengthen regional cooperation and promote collective climate action across the Mediterranean.

Coordinated by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) in collaboration with regional partners, the Pavilion will provide a shared platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange and the presentation of climate solutions. Through panel discussions, policy dialogues and high-level sessions, participants will exchange experiences and highlight regional priorities.

Discussions will address key Mediterranean challenges, including water scarcity, extreme heat, sea-level rise, biodiversity loss and food security. Particular attention will be given to strengthening cooperation between Mediterranean countries and promoting practical, collaborative responses to climate change.

The Pavilion aims to amplify the Mediterranean's voice in global climate discussions and support a more sustainable and climate-resilient region.
