The Cairo Water Week (CWW) 2025 invites researchers and professionals to submit abstracts covering game-changing ideas in water research, policy, engineering, or sustainability. Titled “Innovative Solutions for Climate Resilience and Water Sustainability”, this year’s CWW edition will serve as a global platform for discussing key water challenges and innovative solutions to achieve water security and sustainable development.
Objectives of the Call
The call aims to:
- Promote scientific research and innovation in the water sector.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange among experts, policymakers, and stakeholders.
- Gain interdisciplinary recognition from leading global water experts
Thematic Areas
Submissions should align with the key themes of Cairo Water Week 2025, which include but are not limited to:
- Cooperation for Sustainable Water Management
- Climate Change Vulnerability, Mitigation, and Adaptation
- Innovations for Resilient Water Resources Management
- Nature-Based Solutions for Sustainable Water Systems
- Infrastructure Asset Management for Sustainability
Eligibility Criteria
- Abstracts must be of a maximum length of 300 words
- Abstracts must be original and related to one of the conference themes.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.

- Notification of Acceptance & Invitation to Submit Extended Abstracts: 15 May
- Extended Abstract Submission Deadline: 14 June
- Full paper Submission Deadline: 5 July
- Notification of Presentation Format (Oral/Poster): 21 August
Accepted abstracts will be included in the CWW 2025 proceedings, and selected authors will be invited to present their work during the event.
