The 6th edition of the TERRAenVISION Conference will take place from 7 to 10 September 2026 in the historic city of Trier, Germany, featuring three days of scientific sessions followed by a field visit on the final day.
Following previous successful editions in Granada (2025), Valencia (2024), Utrecht (2022), and Barcelona (2018 & 2019), the organisers have now opened the Call for Sessions and invite contributions to help shape the 2026 programme.
Participants are encouraged to submit session proposals addressing innovative and interdisciplinary approaches related to:
- Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for sustainable agriculture
- NBS for resilient landscapes and mitigation of natural hazards
- NBS in urban contexts
- Methodologies for measuring, monitoring and implementing NBS
- Societal and policy dimensions of NBS for sustainability
Sessions may take the form of oral-poster presentations, workshops, or panel discussions, covering both fundamental research and applied approaches involving stakeholders.
The conference aims to bring together a diverse community of scientists, land users, planners, policymakers, citizens and politicians, fostering dialogue and collaboration in a hybrid format that connects knowledge with actionable solutions.
