Best wishes for 2026
At the beginning of this new year, the entire SEMIDE team extends its best wishes for 2026.
We start the year with great news: the SIRENA project has been selected for funding under the PRIMA Programme. SIRENA will promote and scale up Nature-Based Solutions to strengthen water resilience and climate adaptation in Mediterranean regions with implementation in Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt, as well as case studies in Spain, Italy and Greece. This 3-year project is implemented by a consortium of 10 partners coordinated by NTUA (Greece), with SEMIDE leading impact evaluation, co-creation processes, and capacity-building to support the long-term uptake of NBS across the Mediterranean.
In 2026, SEMIDE will continue its commitment to strengthening cooperation in the water sector in the Euro-Mediterranean region. Through its actions, SEMIDE contributes to the exchange of good practices for the benefit of Mediterranean territories.
To learn more about our activities, we invite you to consult our annual reports in our page “Our Publications”, which highlight the main activities, projects and key milestones of UT SEMIDE.
We sincerely thank you for your trust and collaboration, and we look forward to continuing this collective work together in the year ahead.
