PRIMA

The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) is an initiative aimed at improving water availability, sustainable agricultural practices, and food value chains in the Mediterranean region. Through collaborative research and innovation, PRIMA addresses challenges like climate change, food security, and resource management. The program supports projects that enhance economic growth, environmental sustainability, and social well-being, fostering cooperation among Mediterranean countries to develop innovative solutions for a more resilient and sustainable future.

The Euro-mediterranean Anna Lindh Foundation

The Anna Lindh Foundation is an organization dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue and understanding in the Mediterranean region. It brings together a network of over 4,000 civil society organizations to support initiatives that foster mutual respect and cooperation among cultures. Through programs focused on youth, education, media, and cultural exchange, the foundation aims to build inclusive, empathetic, and resilient societies. The foundation also conducts impactful research to influence policymakers and drive positive social change.

Union européenne

The European Union (EU) is a political and economic union consisting of 27 member countries that are located primarily in Europe. The EU aims to promote peace, establish a unified economic and monetary system, champion human rights, and encourage sustainable development. Through its various institutions and bodies, the EU develops policies and laws to ensure the free movement of people, goods, services, and capital within its internal market. It also engages in numerous initiatives to address global challenges, enhance security, and foster international cooperation.

Union for the Mediterranean

The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) is an intergovernmental organisation that brings together 43 countries to strengthen regional cooperation and dialogue through specific projects and initiatives that address inclusive and sustainable development, stability and integration in the Euro-Mediterranean area. As a direct continuation of the Barcelona Process, the launch of the UfM in 2008 was the reflection of its member states’ shared political commitment to enhance the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership.
